Year 2

Growth

  • Apply for grants (Petco Love, Best Friends, Maddie's Fund)
  • Grow public presence with educational content & TNR advocacy
  • Build dedicated land acquisition fund ($20K – $40K)
  • Expand donor base & public credibility

$25K – $50K fundraising target

Year 3

Land

  • Purchase 5–20 acres near Shelton, Hoquiam, Elma, or Montesano
  • Secure favorable animal zoning, water & power access
  • Install driveway, well, power, internet & septic

$50K – $150K land budget

Year 4

Construction

  • Build three large sheds & initial netted enclosure
  • Establish veterinary, quarantine & storage rooms
  • Plant cat-safe forest floor & begin tree planting

$50K – $100K · pursue larger grants & sponsorships

Year 5

Sanctuary

  • Open first public sanctuary phase
  • Expand to 5–6 sheds with central engawa
  • Add walking paths, waterfall & Japanese garden
  • Welcome 20–40 permanent feline residents
